As vaping surged in popularity, cannabis carts emerged as a convenient way to control dosage strengths while on the move. Unlike traditional smoking methods, vape carts convert cannabis oil directly into vapor, providing a healthier alternative. With a simple press of a button, you can enjoy a discreet, clean, and easily portable vaping experience.
For those seeking the benefits of cannabis while sidestepping the health drawbacks of smoking, THC vape carts offer an ideal solution. By eliminating combustion, vaping reduces exposure to toxins and carcinogens associated with smoking.
These carts are small receptacles filled with smokable cannabis oil distillates containing active tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compounds. Paired with battery power, they produce inhalable cannabis vapor, offering an alternative to smoking.
A vape pen, also known as a cannabis vape pen, heats THC oil in a cartridge to a temperature that vaporizes the compounds. They provide a smoke-free alternative, delivering a potent dose of THC, cannabis’s primary psychoactive compound, directly into your system. It's a discreet and portable method of consuming cannabis.
Choose Your Rechargeable Battery and THC Cartridge
A vape comprises two key components: the cartridge (also known as a cart) and the battery, which connect via a screw thread.
To transform your THC cartridge into a functional "vape pen," you'll need a standard 510-threaded rechargeable battery. If you don't have one handy, don't hesitate to seek assistance from your cannabis dispensary sales associate in selecting the right one.
The most common type of cartridge is the 510-thread, universally compatible with the majority of vape pen batteries. All TRAIN carts are 510-thread cartridges, ensuring seamless compatibility.
Choose a TRAIN vape cart that suits your journey. Once you have your TRAIN cartridge and battery, ensure your battery is adequately charged. Attach it to the charger and wait for the indicator light to signal full charge. Some batteries activate automatically, while others require a series of button taps. Look for the light indicating the unit is powered on.
Attach the Cartridge to Your Vape Pen
With your vape pen and TRAIN cartridge chosen, it's time to connect them. This is usually as simple as screwing or magnetically attaching the cartridge to the device. Ensure it's secure but not overtightened, allowing smooth airflow for an optimal vaping experience.
Press and Inhale
Hold down the battery button while gently inhaling through the cartridge mouthpiece. The battery light should illuminate as vapor enters your lungs. Exhale to observe a small amount of vapor, confirming the unit's proper function.
Titrate Your Dose
Your ideal dose depends on individual tolerance and product potency. For some, one or two inhalations suffice, while others may need more. Pace yourself and assess the product's effects before continuing consumption.
Maintenance and Care
A little upkeep ensures an excellent vaping experience. Keep your device clean, especially the connection points between battery and cartridge, for optimal performance. Monitor your cartridge's oil level to avoid running it dry and risking damage.
There are many potential mental and physical health benefits associated with THC, including:
Pain relief: THC is known for its analgesic properties, which can help alleviate chronic pain and inflammatory pain. It modifies pain perception by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system.
Muscle relaxation: THC may have muscle-relaxing effects, making it useful for conditions involving muscle tension, spasms, or stiffness.
Relaxation: THC can reduce feelings of anxiety and promote calmness, providing temporary relief from stress and uplifting your mood.
Cannabis, a flowering herb, is divided into three subspecies: Indica, Sativa, and Ruderalis. While Cannabis Ruderalis offers limited medicinal value, Indica and Sativa are the primary types cultivated for their diverse effects.
Indica: Known for its short, bushy stature and wide leaves, Indica plants grow quickly, yielding higher quantities than Sativa. They emit musty, earthy odors and contain elevated THC levels, inducing a "body high" characterized by deep relaxation.
Sativa: In contrast, Sativa plants are tall, slender, and light green with narrow leaves. They require longer growth periods and more light. Sativa strains exude sweet, fruity aromas and boast high THC concentrations, delivering a "mind high" that uplifts mood, enhances creativity, and boosts productivity.
Producers often crossbreed strains to develop hybrids with specific traits. With over 700 strains, THC content serves as a key characteristic. While naming conventions exist, many producers deviate. Analyzing a product's chemical composition through biochemical assays remains the only reliable method to discern its properties.
Part of the Cannabis plant used to make a variety of commercial products including clothing, rope, paper, food, skincare, building materials and more, is called Hemp or Industrial Hemp.
Hemp is exclusively produced from strains of Cannabis Sativa that have been cultivated to produce minimal levels of THC but high concentration of CBD and are selected and bred to grow taller and sturdier. Hemp is one of the most useful and sustainable plants on earth. For thousands of years, wise people have used all parts of the hemp plant to clothe, feed, build, and heal the world sustainably.
Hemp has been one of the most significant crops for mankind up until this last century when in 1937, the United States government, under the influence of the lobbying of synthetic textile companies and several other powerful groups who saw hemp as a big threat to their businesses, banned hemp altogether. Fortunately producing hemp across the USA is getting wings again thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill that made history by legalizing hemp as an agricultural commodity. Hemp, the world’s oldest domesticated crop is once again available to serve mankind in a broad range of environmentally friendly ways.
Check out our sister company AURELIAN, nestled in Vermont, offers a curated selection of eco-friendly hemp products, from comfortable hemp clothing to durable goods, nutritious hemp food, and rejuvenating hemp skincare essentials, all crafted with care for a sustainable lifestyle.
In the 1970s, President Nixon declared a “War on Drugs” and signed into law the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. This law established a set of banned drugs and created the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It also unintentionally outlawed one of the world’s oldest domesticated crops, hemp. This not only led to the demise of hemp, but also an increased misconception of the cannabis plant.
Under US law, the definitions are clear. Different parts of the same cannabis plant are defined as Hemp and other parts as Cannabis or Marijuana, and the seed may be defined as either, depending upon its viability. According to US law, hemp is the stalks, stems and sterilized seeds of cannabis sativa, and marijuana is the leaves, flowers, and viable seeds of cannabis sativa.
While hemp may resemble marijuana, it lacks significant concentrations of THC, the active compound responsible for psychoactive effects. This means that consuming hemp will not induce the intoxicating 'high' associated with marijuana. In fact, the only way to 'get high' with industrial hemp is to use it to make a rope and climb it.
